Metal Shearing & Cutting Services for Fabrication Projects
Ramsay Welding provides metal shearing and cutting services. Shearing is a cutting process mainly used to cut flat sheet metal and heavy plates out of large stock pieces. The shears we operate produce parts in the exact dimensions specified by our customers. Shearing and cutting is done as a preliminary process of preparing stock material for just about every fabrication process.
About Our Equipment
Our Darley 10-Foot Shear is capable of cutting sheet and plate stock quickly and accurately. We can shear up to 3/8” steel, 3/4” aluminum, and 1/4” stainless steel.
We cut square, round, and rectangular tubes using our Marvel Series 8 Mark III Saw. This saw can cut accurate miters and keep ends square on straight cuts.
